Billing & Plans

PathPro offers flexible pricing tiers designed to grow with your product. Whether you're validating an idea with a free plan or running a full-scale product feedback operation, there's a plan that fits. Here's everything you need to know about plans, upgrades, billing management, and special deals.

Plan Tiers

PathPro is structured around four plan tiers, each designed for a different stage of your product journey:

  • Free — Perfect for solo founders and early-stage products. You get one project with core features like a public roadmap, feature voting, and release notes. It's a fully functional plan with no time limit — use it as long as you need.
  • Pro — Built for growing teams that need more capacity. Pro unlocks multiple projects, team member seats, custom domains, file attachments, and custom CSS. This is the most popular plan for startups with an active user base.
  • Business — Designed for established products and larger teams. Business includes everything in Pro plus AI-powered features (PathFox), white-labeling, API access, priority support, and higher limits across the board.
  • Enterprise — For organizations with specific requirements. Enterprise plans include custom limits, dedicated support, SLA guarantees, and the ability to negotiate terms. Contact the PathPro team directly for Enterprise pricing.

All paid plans are billed monthly or annually. Choosing annual billing saves you roughly 20% compared to the monthly rate. You can switch between monthly and annual billing at any time from your account settings.

Upgrading and Downgrading

You can change your plan at any time from Account Settings → Billing. Upgrades take effect immediately — as soon as you confirm the new plan, all additional features and higher limits are unlocked. Your billing cycle adjusts automatically, and you're only charged the prorated difference for the remainder of your current period.

Downgrading works a little differently. When you switch to a lower-tier plan, the change takes effect at the end of your current billing period. This means you continue to have access to your current plan's features until the period expires, and you won't be charged again at the higher rate.

If your usage exceeds the limits of your new, lower-tier plan, PathPro won't delete any data. However, certain features will become read-only or inaccessible. For example, if you downgrade from Pro to Free and have three projects, you'll need to select which project remains active — the others will be archived and accessible again if you upgrade in the future.

Custom domains are disconnected during a downgrade to a plan that doesn't support them, but your DNS records won't be affected. If you upgrade again, you can reconnect the same domain without reconfiguring DNS.

Stripe Billing Management

PathPro uses Stripe for all payment processing. Your credit card information is stored securely by Stripe and never touches PathPro's servers. From the billing settings page, you can manage your payment methods, view and download invoices, and update your billing details.

To update your payment method, click "Manage Payment Method" in your billing settings. This opens a secure Stripe-hosted form where you can enter a new card number. The update takes effect immediately and applies to all future charges.

Invoices are generated automatically for each billing cycle and are available in your billing history. Each invoice includes a detailed breakdown of your charges, including any prorated amounts from mid-cycle upgrades. You can download invoices as PDFs for your accounting records.

Receipts are emailed to the account owner's email address after each successful payment. If you need receipts sent to a different address — for example, an accounting department email — you can configure this in your billing notification settings.

If a payment fails (expired card, insufficient funds), PathPro will retry the charge several times over the following days and notify you by email. Your service continues uninterrupted during the retry period. If the issue isn't resolved, your account will be downgraded to the Free plan to prevent disruption, and all your data will be preserved.
